Dante Ventresca is the Senior Partner of Game Development and Operations for Walrus Game Studio. Aside from his management responsibilities, Dante's focus area is writing backend code for game engines like Unity and Unreal. He is especially good at writing game logic in the area of physics, math and AI components due to his Engineering degree. Dante has been a life long fan of TTRPG games and video games and believes that learning the mechanics of games and game theory helps people solve problems in other areas of life.
He enjoys working on games that focus on collaboration of players over the lone wolf game model. Collaborative game play teaches people how to work on teams to achieve goals. Dante also contributes to Walrus Game Studio by editing and sometimes writing campaigns and short adventures for the Dungeons and Dragons and Pahtfinder TTRPG systems. Dante started playing Dungeons and Dragons in his senior year of High School and has been playing ever since.
Curtis Weatherbee is the Senior Managing Partner of Walrus Game Studio. With a unique blend of expertise in IT consulting and business administration and driven by a deep passion for gaming, Curtis looks to continue to build a game design studio that produces immersive and captivating gaming experiences. In preparation of building the business, Curtis made the pivotal decision to pursue an MBA with a specialization in entrepreneurship and innovation. Armed with a solid foundation in business strategy and management, he embarked on a mission to build a game design studio. Curtis’s journey into the world of gaming began at an early age. Starting with D&D version 1 in grade school and progressing through all the recent TTRPG systems, he has always been involved in the gaming community. Additionally, Curtis is also an avid PC gamer with his first game being Star Wars Galaxies.
In addition to his role as a Senior Managing Partner, Curtis actively contributes to game development as an artist and animator.
Matthew Zubritsky is the Senior Partner of Creative Content for Walrus Game Studios. Matthew brings a unique speciality of Graphic Design, Game Design, and Writing. His decade experience in managing Healthcare IT Infrastructure helps Walrus in a way that helps set foundations for projects and games. He created and produced the successful Magic the Gathering Podcast; Magic With Zuby. He has been playing TTRPG's for over two decades and decided it was time to go from homebrewing campaigns to authoring them. He has been a storyteller since he could write and this has been a passion of his and a dream come true to author a book. He started with Dungeons and Dragons 2nd Edition and has expanded to other systems such as Pathfinder, TORG, Star Trek, OSR, and many more. An avid fan of Dragonlance, Middle Earth, Forgotten Realms, and Azeroth.
